How To Make Money At Home Fast As A Marketing Consultant -- Even If You Hate Using The Phone

If you'd like to start making money at home as a marketing consultant... but don't have the money to advertise and are pathologically afraid of getting on the phone, then listen to this:

There are a lot of ways of marketing yourself to get clients.

But no matter which way you cut it, the good old fashioned telephone is the best and simplest way. And believe it or not, it's also the most painless way to get clients if you simply know what to say.

Especially if you have a good script that tells people exactly what they already want to hear (i.e. that you can increase their sales without them spending any extra money whatsoever on advertising or marketing).

However, if you really hate the phone, and dread the thought of it worse than death itself -- as some people actually do -- then there is another option to consider.

And that is, quite simply, to outsource the telemarketing to a tele-marketer. Even if it's just part time.

Now to be honest, early in my career as a marketing consultant, I was making the calls myself. And I absolutely recommend you make the calls when you're just starting out, too.

Why?

Because you'll have that experience. You'll bring an extra layer of "street-smarts" and confidence with you to any client you work with. The kind of savvy attitude that commands higher fees and gets better results 100% of the time.

But the fact is some people just cannot, for whatever reason, pick up the phone and cold call. Even with a script that practically guarantees nobody hangs up on you and is proven to work over and over again.

And if that's you, and if you really want or need to get started right away, and if you feel that you don't have the ability to get on the phone, then by all means outsource the tele-marketing.

Yes, it will cost you a little bit of money (although usually not enough to break the bank). And unless you're hiring someone who's already pretty good, they probably won't yield spectacular results for you.

But it can still work to get you some quality leads to start with, and it's definitely better than not getting started at all because of fear of cold calling or lack of marketing funds.
