Franchise The World in 2006

Today we see so many problems in the world from millions of children dying each year of Malaria and potential Bird Flu epidemic to Hurricanes, Tsunamis, Volcanoes and Earthquakes. And if that were not enough we see so many problems which are caused man, some purposefully through wars and conflicts and others which are accidents such as oil spills and accidents. In large companies they must plan for all sorts of potential eventualities because the show must go on and the next financial quarter is coming.

What if the World Governments operated like a Franchise. The UN, the Franchisor could be like a Franchise Opportunity for emerging Nations franchising their government structure. Regional Areas could operate like Master Franchise Opportunities and each Nation could be a Franchisee. Then everyone would be part of the same team and join in a common cause to battle disasters, disease and human rights for the betterment of all mankind; A franchise for the human race?

Is it possible to design a plan for humankind to work together as one team, with a similar goal? If we did this could we keep peace and work on the real problems which plague us all, without in-fighting which only leads to backtracking and destruction of our civilizations? Is it possible? Well, think on this in 2006.
