Why Soy Candles Are Better!

Most people love candles, and have many in their homes. This is great! Candles are wonderful for so many things, waht isn't so great is the kind of candles most people are using.

Most people, when buying scented candles just go to the nearest store and pick up some random cheap candle. This can be hazardous to you and your family's health!

Candles you pick up at just any old store are most likely made with paraffin, a petroleum based product, and depending on where the candles were originally made, they co uld also be made with a lead wick. The making of lead wicks has been outlawed in the United States, but apparently the sale of them has not.

A much better, healthier alternative to these scented candles would be soy Candles!

There are many benefits to using soy candles:

Soy candles burn approximately 50% longer

they burn slower and at a lower temperature, which helps the fragrance distribute better

Soy candles are nearly completely soot free

They are non-toxic and made with no pesticides or herbicides which makes them safe for use around kids and pets

Soy candles are made from soybeans grown in the USA which is a renewable re source and means that your purchase helps our economy!

Soy candles are less likely to cause allergies

They are biodegradable and clean up with soap and water.

After reviewing the many pros and cons of the different types of candles, it is easy to see why more and more people aer switching to Soy candles over Paraffin based acndles.

Now it's your turn to decide...
