Discount Horse Tack

Horse tack is the equipment used on a horse for riding. There are two different kinds of horse tack: English and Western. The main parts of a horse tack are: halter, saddle, saddle pad, stirrup, bridle, Girth (English) / Cinches (Western), lead ropes, martingale, harnesses, and breastplates. Headstall, chin strap, bits and reins make the bridle.

Horse tack can be very expensive, especially if the accessories are made of leather. Most experts and professional equestrians use leather horse tack only. However, these days, horse tack is being made of synthetic materials which are lightweight, washable and much cheaper.

There are some stores that offer horse tack at discounted prices. Discounted horse tack can be very affordable. For instance, a pad with fleece bottom would be available for around $25, while large pads with extended wear leathers can be found for $46. Similarly, girths are priced as low as $15 to $25. Leather reins are priced at around $13, while laced leather stirrups are $40.

There are also some exclusive sales, such as the Western saddle sale where top brands of Western saddles such as Billy Cook, Tex Tan, American Saddlery and Buffalo Saddlery can be bought for just $250-$350. Saddles priced at around $1,550 would be available for just $900.

There are many stores that offer discount horse tack from time to time. These stores can be found on the Internet. There are also exclusive online stores where the products can be seen, compared and even bought online. These sites also offer warranties and other options on the purchase. Some stores also sell used and damaged horse tack at very low prices. Other stores offer discounts on some items if the customer purchases some other equipment. There are also e-mail discounts, gift certificates, and closeout sales over these websites. Discount horse tack is also available in online stores such as eBay and MSN shopping.
