If you see something interesting, simple ask the vendor if he, or she, would be interesting in selling any excess. No pressure there, you are looking to help them, and they usually respond with a smile and sigh of relief.

Always go prepared to take immediate delivery. It is a good idea to bring, at minimum, a pickup truck. These vendors will not be willing to ship their goods. You are getting a great deal to take their excess product off their hands fast.
