Objections Are Signs Somebody Is Interested

The fact is, most people think they handle objections with ease. The reality paints a different picture. There are claims that you could have closed a large % of people who gave you objections by simply understanding why the person you are talking to is objecting. Oh...and by keeping your mouth closed for a minute or two.

"We are having a girl's night out- Leave us alone." Right off the bat you want try to get across to your target why that is not a valid objection. Often times you will go into a puke session about why you are better than any of your competition.

Whoa, easy there. You need to slow down and take a step back before you start puking all over your future girlfriend. Who cares that you have this and that going for you. They do not need to know this right now.

Good news though - your *target* is interested!

Objections are usually a good thing; your future girlfriend brings them up because they are interested in you and are screening you.

Imagine a pretty girl who gets hit on 20 times a night. How is she going to screen guys? Well she puts up some resistance. A shield to screen potential guys from the not so great guys. You just need to pass this screen and you are in.

Since they are interested in YOU, you need to make sure that your tone and your demeanor reflect the positive attributes of the objection. Do not become discouraged or become defensive about things. They ARE INTERESTED in YOU. Giving you an objection is giving you what is known in the community as an IOI. An IOI stands for an indication of interest.

They simply want to know more.

The secret lies in understanding exactly what they want to know more about. When the objection is in the form of a question, you must decipher what it is that they are truly asking and what it is that they truly would like to know more about.

Let's take, "I don't date my neighbors or coworksers?" This has to be my favorite objection and one that is most often fumbled by the many. How would you respond to this question?

What are they truly asking you? When your target asks if that your best pick up line, it does not automatically mean that they are objecting to your what you said.

Think about it;

They said they do not date co workers.

What are the possible motives for asking this question?

Yes, of course one of the motives for asking this question could be how you opened them was too boring and they do not have high buying temp yet. and that they are not interested in YOU. So be it.

There are plenty of ways to amp up somebody's emotions and create attraction. We teach these in a workshop.

However, a more likely motive for this question is that they are interested and they want to make sure that you are really confident and that they can't phase you.

If you get all frustrated by this reaction. Well then they won because they caused you to feel an emotion instead of you causing somebody else to feel one. Who is leading who?

If you naturally assume that your targets question was an objection that could prevent you from winning them over, you may end up talking them out winning them by the inappropriate response. This is why you need to be sure that you understand the nature of the objection before you start blabbing about nothing.

When you believe in yourself in such a profound way and are comfortable with that belief you'll find that others will naturally accept this "I'm the prize" attitude as their reality that you are the prize.
