In all of human experience, the relationship is a ferocious beast to tame. A necessary yet very dangerous task in which there are many fatalities. From the time of self awareness, the individual human experience is an internal war zone, a battle of such intensity, the outside world has never seen. Multiply these wars by the sum of humanity and you have extreme chaos. Immerse yourself in the world and you become one with the chaos. Withdraw from the world and the chaos fades. Relationships are like a wild dog welcomed into the home. While it may seem possible to tame the animal for a short period of time, it is dangerous by nature and its animalistic tendencies may arise at any time without warning. Possible to love, yes, while also deserving of a watchful eye, lest it rise and bite you in the back. Do not confuse my words. Relationships of the world belong to the animals. Connections formed outside the realm of beasts are imperishable. Let the emphasis be for that greater love. Welcome this greater connection as your lover. |
