Success through Motivational Self Improvement and Positive Thinking

What does it take to wake up every morning and know to the bottom of your soulyou CAN achieve what you set out to do?

Millions of people read self-help books, watch and listen to programs designed to cheerlead them into their promised future. And yet so few go to bed each night safe in the knowledge that not only did they persevere, they actually overcame the obstacles standing in their way. Why are they continuing to fall asleep in a general state of anxiety, worry and exhaustion?

Probably because there are old, set patterns of disempowering thoughts preventing true growth.

What would you give to really, finally make the constant array of negative talk in your head a thing of the past?

Actually, the real question is what would you give away? So much of what blocks people from their goals are the endless voices in their heads that make it very difficult to remain positive and on the right track.

It takes effort to go inside oneself and discover where those enemies lie. Heres how to begin:

First thing to do is pay attention to the words and the tone. Whose are they? Are they actually yours? More often than not, so many of the messages you spend your life agreeing with, were never yours to begin with. So listen again, and listen hard. Is it mom, dad, sibling, friend, teacher, enemy? If so, now is the perfect opportunity to take that data and hit delete. The same way you scan your computer for viruses, scan your being for corrupting information and make sure that they are detected, brought to the light and discarded before they can inflict any further damage.

Then listen for the words, actions, and ways that people have encouraged you through the years. We tend to focus so much on the negative, we sometimes forget that in spite of everything, there have been days, moments, experiences that went our way. There were people who told us Good job! and I love YOU! Make sure those messages are filed up front on the desktop of your mindlike a favorite sticky that reminds you every time you forget that you are important, special and loved!

It takes guts to confront these old demons and see them for what they really are. And more often than not they are old recordings, out dated belief systems and general negativity that do nothing but take up space and energy. It is important in this exercise to remember that the person or event you discard has no way of knowing that you have finally purged them from your system. So feel free and safe to go deep, and to be thorough.

Your mind is constantly taking in new information. It is important to make room for more positive outlooks and to give those new words of support the proper attention. Be diligent and you will discover your true courage within encouragement
