Review: Motorola V60s

The Motorola V60s is an attractive new-age style flip-phone designed and developed by Motorola for Verizon Wireless.

This tri-mode CDMA handset offers one-touch hands free communication, Enhanced SMS messaging, quality speaker phone, voice activated controls, 42 embedded ringtones, and a fully featured web browser.

The V60s offers five unique vibrating ring patterns - a feature available only to an exclusive set of phones.

The phones finish is an attractive metallic silver colour, which looks very professional and high-end.

The phone has no camera, which would seem to be the logical addition to this phone, however, likely in effort to keep this very affordable phone in the affordability range, Motorola has left that feature, as well as MP3 playing possibilities out.

One of the most negative missing features of this phone is the lack of a colour screen. Almost all newly released phones sport a colour screen, however, the V60s does not.

The Motorola V60 is pretty decent, for a phone that doesnt have any fancy high-tech options. Very simple phone to use and is very reliable. Highly recommended if you need something basic and easy to use.

Overall:

* Networks: CDMA 800, 1900 / Analog 800

* Form-style: Flip

* Dimensions: 3.4in x 1.8in x 1.2in

* Weight: 4.4oz

* Battery Type: Li-Ion

* Talk Time: 150 minutes

* Stand-by Time: 200 hours

* Camera: No.
