Water Resonance Changes; Do They Cause Earthquakes?

Many seismologists believe that large scale flooding can put more weight on the plates and thus cause Earthquakes. Many believe that huge storm surges also can do the same thing. It makes sense because water weighs a lot and when lots of it moves the plates would too right? Sure, no problems there. But what if there is even more too this; what if water resonance changes can cause changes enough to cause Earthquakes too?

Now then lets also remember that resonance changes things too. And when the Moon is full and there is weight on the plates we could in fact increase the potential for seismic shifts; Earthquakes. Some do predict this, noting tidal surges and some believe it is the increase in gravity affects, with more power to the moon and a little less from the Sun. Some have even gone so far as to say the Earths normal frequency is slightly adjusted from its 6.79 Hertz.

Speaking of which this weekend we have full moon and tidal surge and high weight on the plates from storms in CA. What does it mean? Well a greater chance of Earthquakes many say, me included. Think of 8.2 Lbs. Per gallon and all that additional weight, plus the rising tides. It changes ever so slightly the over all balance you see? How much of this is reality and how much conjecture or bad science? Who knows, be we do know that everything affects everything else, right? We should.

Did you know in Chile every time they have an Eclipse they have an Earthquake right afterwards or the next day? Some 20 years running now, every single eclipse. And here are some other interesting discussions on this topic;

Could there actually be more to the water mass movement and Earthquakes, should we be looking into ways to test such theories? Some say it is completely nuts, yet is it? I mean anything is possible and well, science has been wrong more times than I care to remember? Consider all this in 2006.
