Frequent Flyer Miles

A frequent flyer program is a lucrative service offered by many airline companies in order to pay respect to the loyalty of a customer. These customers, in this case the passengers, are given certain advantages. For example they are provided certain facilities on travel entirely for free. If a customer enrolls his or her name in the frequent flyer program, he or she accumulates points depending on the corresponding distance flown on that airline. These points are also called frequent flyer miles and they can be enhanced for air travel and other such lucrative products and services on raising or redeeming what are called frequent flyer miles.

There are a number of people all around the world for whom traveling, whether for official purpose or not, is a question of daily routine. The passengers as well as the airline companies have the full opportunity to get the mutual benefit. From the passengers point of view, they can always turn the necessity of travel into something very profitable that would contribute to the very interest of the passenger. As he or she keeps on raising his points or frequent flyer miles, he or she is supposed to get more and more advantages from the airline company.

The airlines, reciprocally, earn the loyalty of customers by offering a service that is concerned about business travel. As the traveling distance does not make much difference to those who are business travelers, the question of appropriating the heterogeneous mass for the airline companies are also to the advantage of the travelers. If someone looks at the whole point from a wider view, it is clear that in a world of utter competition there are so many companies trying to grab each and every potential customer to their business. This is a deliberate way to homogenize the various customers and ensure the number of passengers for their business purpose.
