The summer holidays are here again, and trying to find somewhere to go for a short break holiday or a good day out that is suitable for the entire family, including young children, can prove difficult.

For families with younger children, Legoland Windsor is ideal has proved to be a major hit with thousands of families with children aged 2-12 years since it opened in 1996 on the former site of Windsor Safari Park.

Most adults can remember playing with Lego when they were children themselves, creating wonderful and complicated sculptures such as a small wall, or a slightly larger Lego brick made of the small bricks. Younger kids can also journey through Miniland, where over 40 million Lego bricks have been used to recreate famous landmarks from around the world, ride on the Dragons Apprentice coaster or visit the brightly coloured Duploland (especially for younger kids).
